SAFURA was the Head of Centre for Entrepreneur Development and Research (CEDAR), a subsidiary of SME BANK. She has over 20 years of experience within the entrepreneurial development and entrepreneurship industry.
As a Certified Professional Trainer and Facilitator and HRDF approved trainer, she has accumulated vast exposure and developed expertise in entrepreneurship training programs over those years. With her specialization in developing and delivering business coaching & training modules comparable to the international standard, she ahs discerning eyes for training and development requirements and is eager to bridge the gaps that exist in the current development landscape in Malaysia.
She spearheaded the BisKaunselor programme during her tenure in Institut Keusahawanan Negara (INSKEN) when it was assigned to Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera (TERAJU).
She has completed her Certificate OF Coaching & Mentoring Professional and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is a Certified Growthwheel Business Advisor. She has conducted multiple Coaching, Innovation and human centered workshops (for example, Coaching & Mentoring, Strategic Management Leadership, Communication) with several local and international organisations.
Currently, she is the only Certified FORTH Innovation Methodology Facilitator based in Malaysia and is one out of the two in Southeast Asia. With an accounting degree from UKM and MBA specializing in Entrepreneurship from UiTM, Safura has come a long way and has seen and done it all as far as SMEs business growth development is concerned.
