DR. PREMKUMAR is one of the Asia’s leading Strategic Planning and Supply Chain Trainer cum Researcher with more than 15 years of hands-on experience in an international business environment. He was the Strategic Manager for Intel Technology, Penang and was primarily responsible for designing and implementing of business strategies relating to Intel’s global supply chain initiatives. He has wide management exposure in different areas of business; having held key management positions in Logistics Operations, Inventory Management, Manufacturing Integration and Quality

Besides his work, he also actively involved himself in teaching and training. He has conducted seminars and workshops on Strategic Business Planning and Supply Chain in many parts of the world, including San Jose, Phoenix, Shanghai, Vietnam, Amsterdam, Swindon, Japan, and Shenzhen. He also teaches for University of South Australia, as an adjunct lecturer in the area of Competitive Strategy. He was also spoken and delivered papers at several international forums. He is currently the Director of CGES and head of business faculty at AIMST University.

Dr. Premkumar has the unique ability to connect with people and uses humor and creative teaching techniques in his workshop sessions. He adopts a practical approach and provides relevant applications in his session. He is also able to simplify the theories and relate them to real life examples to enhance the learning process.

Since year 2002, he played an active role in conducting research on SCM. A numbers of his papers were accepted at International Conferences. Recently, one of his research papers was accepted for the SCM Journal – a renowned international journal. Another milestone in his academic career is being invited to contribute a chapter in the book, Information Quality Management, Theory and Applications, Australia. Dr. Premkumar is also a leading expert in Supply Chain Management for Intel worldwide.
